Struggling to keep a spotless, sparkling bathroom? Fortunately, there are some ways to keep your bathroom maintained and fresh-looking every day. We assure you, it is possible and quite simple. Although it may seem like a chore at first, these easy habits can quickly become part of your daily routine once you start working on it.

Here are a few tips on how to keep your bathroom looking new and clean for years to come:

Clear the Surfaces

Put everything away, including your flat iron, cosmetics, all hair products, combs, and brushes, as well as bobby pins that always tend to pop up. Clean towels and dirty clothing should be hung up or taken off the floor and laundered.

Keep it Dry

Nothing prevents mildew stains as effectively as a dry shower. Make it a rule that the last person to shower cleans the walls, tub, and shower doors by hanging a squeegee over the shower head. In the long term, a few more minutes of work can significantly reduce cleaning time.

Germs thrive on bathroom surfaces more than anywhere else. It is crucial to keep them clean because they can accumulate in hair, soap, water stains, and even toothpaste. Regularly wiping down your bathroom surfaces is one of the most effective methods to keep them clean and shiny.

Spray a bathroom antibacterial cleanser on the surface, and then wipe it down with a microfiber towel. Do not forget to do this every two to three days to maintain your bathroom clean and free of dust.

Clean the Toilet Frequently

Bathroom cleaning is undoubtedly one of the most frustrating tasks, especially if you have a big family. However, it is imperative that you thoroughly clean your toilet at least once a week.

Germs can easily accumulate in your home due to visitors coming and going and frequent toilet use. We advise you to practice routinely wiping down your toilet with an antibacterial spray in order to address this issue. Ideally, you ought to repeat this process frequently.

Before wiping down with a cleaning cloth, spray the toilet thoroughly, paying particular attention to the seat, lid, flush, and sides. Before cleaning the toilet bowl with a toilet brush and flushing, pour a cup of bleach into the bowl and let it sit for 15 minutes.

Scrub scrub scrub!

Prevent mould growth on your bathroom's tiles can be challenging. But there is a fix for this problem! Once a week, give your bathroom a thorough cleaning to help keep mould from growing there. Shower floors and bathtub rings can be cleaned extensively with abrasive scrubbing pads, while grout can be cleaned well with tile brushes.

As an alternative, we advise cleaning those bathroom nooks with an old toothbrush. A toothbrush works wonders to remove debris, dust, or mould that has accumulated in your bathroom's hard-to-reach areas.

You can prevent dirt build-up and the emergence of mould in your bathroom by routinely cleaning the tiles and grout. Although it may seem like a major task, it only takes 30 minutes out of your day, and we promise it will be worth it when you have a clean bathroom!

Clean those bathroom sinks regularly

Make sure to clean and dry the bathroom sink after each usage. You may keep a spray bottle of vinegar and a cloth next to the sink or in the bathroom cabinet to use every day for this. You can keep your hand basin clean, dust-free, and ready to entertain visitors by rinsing and cleaning it down after each use.

One of the most commonly used rooms in your house is the bathroom, which can quickly turn into an unsanitary health danger if neglected (even for a brief time). Fortunately, there are ways to keep it looking new and clean for many years to come.
